Lowboi Riesling

The Porongurup Range is a beautiful and unique place, known for its incredible biodiversity and the massive granite structures that dominate the landscape. The Riesling grown here, is dry grown and was planted in 1985 on the elevated Springviews Vineyard. The ancient granitic geology of the site, southern aspect and cooling influence during the growing season of the Southern ocean contributes to the energetic, mineral and lifted nature of the Springviews Riesling. The 2023 vintage was very good and one of the best we have seen Riesling look on the vine, great bunch structure with vibrancy of flavour. The wine is aromatic and fruit lifted but with classic bath salt minerality we have come to know from this site. Will reward cellaring.
