Millbrook Regional Vermentino
The fruit for this wine was sourced from a single vineyard within the Geographe region, which is quickly becoming known for producing some excellent examples of this North-West Italian variety. The fruit was hand-picked in the cool of the early morning for processing. Fruit was then destemmed, crushed and gently pressed to allow for extraction of clear, free run juice. This clean, clear juice was racked from the solids and fermented with a specifically chosen yeast strain at cool temperatures to retain the subtle aromatics of this wine. Lightly fined and filtered for clarity before being bottled.
Colour: Pale, bright and crystal clear with lemon hues.
Aroma: Zesty citrus, white blossom and mineral, elegant in its subtlety.
Palate: A clean, beautifully dry and textured palate of crunchy green apple and citrus. Fine, limey acidity and savoury spice add to a delightful wine, perfect with a wide range of cuisines.
Cellaring: Best drunk soon after release, chilled.
