Toscolo Chianti, an all-Sangiovese varietal, is supple with cherry fruit and a soft, flavourful palate with appealing balance and that essential ‘bite’ that makes Sangiovese particularly food-friendly and versatile. Dolce Toscolo is made from 70% Trebbiano and 30% Malvasia using partly sun-dried grapes, aged 18 months in small barrels. Elegant and fragrant with notes of caramel, apricot and orange blossom, the palate is not overly sweet making it a versatile dessert wine.
