A mouth-filling explosion of flavour, this wine speaks both French and “Strayan”. Very familiar in style to some of the more famous wines from the Rhone valley, all of the fruit hails from great vineyards in our Great Southern. It holds a floral and sweet-fruited core to the end, with spicy red cherry, raspberry, strawberry, creamy, olive and leathery tones. Balancing the flavours, fine tannins and a hint of acid give it a great backbone.
As complex and interesting as its maker, this is an excellent wine. Drink it now because it is delicious now.
