Mayer’s first release of Grenache from the black volcanic soils of Kangaroo Ground, this is pinot-like, deft, and savoury. Bright pomegranate, blood orange and strawberry lead into dried herbs, a saline feel, and a smoky lift. The palate is juicy and finely structured, with natural fruit weight hemmed in by grippy tannins.
