This wine is 100% Malbec from the Wilyabrup Valley.
The colour is inviting from first sight, with deep colour and a dense crimson hue.
The nose is very toasty and complex, showing a great combination of lovely dark fruits and kola nuts.
The palate is powerful yet elegant. Rich and ripe on entry, dark fruits appear again with toasty oak, white pepper and spice. It finishes with pleasantly grippy tannin, with fruit flavours lingering.
Try matching this wine with seafood marinara with red chilli flakes, or Moroccan rice pilaf with Harissa and orange vinaigrette.
