Millbrook Regional Viognier is always made to a dry, modern style with savoury notes complemented by bright and generous fruit. Individual parcels of fruit were hand-picked in the cool of the night and were pressed directly to tank. Cold settled and hard racked to retain textural grape solids, the wine was then left on lees for three months to build texture and depth before being lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.
Colour: Vibrant pale straw.
Aroma: The wine displays floral notes, with apricot and grapefruit.
Palate: A hedonistic richness of palate true to this variety is supported by flavours of marmalade and marzipan with a lingering finish. A medium-bodied wine that has the intensity and generosity expected from this truly flavoursome variety.
Cellaring: Best drunk over the next three years.
