This Chardonnay has something for everyone. Like a stone fruit aroma? It’s here, along with an underlay of toasty spice. The palate displays “barrel ferment” characters, thanks to the leisurely fermentation with wild yeasts in French barriques. No malo-lactic fermentation in this Chardonnay, so expect all the natural acidity to be there, holding the fort. There are also flavours of citrus and cashew culminating in a long, flavoursome finish.
