“This vintage sees the shiraz swapped out for souzao, together with lambrusco, tempranillo and lagrein. A spicier iteration, with cinnamon, clove and peppery threads sewn into a canvas of black fruit, plum, cherry and blackberry. It’s inkier and richer, a touch coarse, though with vibrant acidity and slightly green elements, olive, fennel, that generate engaging lift.
