South by Southwest DeVine Intervention Sangiovese

Crafted by the winemaking talents of Italian varietal specialist Liv, at South by Southwest, tucked away in the back of our beautiful Margaret River region with fruit from Geographe. This soft, medium-bodied beauty was 20% whole-bunch fermented to retain a lovely fragrant brightness and is just as happy with a full fridge chill and accompanying barbequed red meats as it is consumed at the traditional 14 to 18C with Italian Stuffed Fungi and Salad.

La Torretta Sangiovese IGT

A little fuller in body than its cousin featured here, this Italian wine hails from the warmer, more southerly Puglia IGT, when compared to Sangiovese from Tuscany. This brings a real lightly velvety mulberry character over the top of dark cherry, blueberry and light savory tones to finish. Beware, this wine does possess the ability to vanish rapidly upon opening!
