“Planted in Nillumbik with the oldest fruit now 45 years old. Some (10%) whole bunches with 14 days on skins before being pressed off into 35% new oak for 8 months. Deeply coloured. A powerful wine with maraschino cherry, dark plum and a touch of spice. Concentrated and plush, the red and black fruits are joined by a dusting of dark chocolate powder, with velvety tannins rounding out a powerful yet well-weighted wine that I imagine will look even better 5–10 years from now. 13.5% alc.
