Medium depth magenta with hints of crimson. There are bright fruit aromas of blueberry and dark cherry combined with notes of star anise and dark chocolate. The palate is medium bodied with generous plum and dark berry fruit flavours. A dash of Sangiovese adds a savoury edge to the sweet fruit palate and a rustic tannin finish.
