Mandoon Old Vine Grenache

This 100% 2014 Grenache is hand picked from the Sita Vineyard in Swan Valley planted in 1955 and the Nesci Vineyard in Perth Hills planted in 1946. Matured in French Oak for 12 months after gentle pressing. This wine showcases lifted aromas of dark cherry and raspberry are complimented by confectionary and spice. Undertones of perfumed cedar adds complexity. The palate is rich with flavours of raspberry, plum and cherries with undertones of chocolate and aniseed. Velvety soft tannins add thickness and texture along with flavours of lingering confectionary add great length.
