COLOUR  Dark red with a purple hue

NOSE  Blackberry nougat, cherry stone, cocoa powder, ginger and nutmeg.

PALATE  Dark cherry and vanilla bean with structural layers of coffee, cardamom and mace. Fresh and juicy with a “chewy” textural tannin structure, that gives the wine persistence and length.

STYLE  A full bodied, fruit driven, dry red wine that can be enjoyed now or easily aged for a couple years. Big in flavour, but nicely balanced with fresh acidity. This wine will match well with a range of grilled meat dishes like rump steak, lamb chops or kangaroo loin. These savoury protein meals will complement the richness of the wine nicely. In the same way you could try it with a grilled mushrooms or a hearty lentil stew.
