A serious and composed Pinot Noir from the cool, elevated country around Deanmill – dark cherry and plum fruit at the core, with charry new oak adding structure and a smoky, cedar complexity. Fuller-bodied than the variety might suggest, with fine but present tannins and a long, savoury finish that rewards patience.

Pairing: Duck is the classic call – confit or roasted – but equally at home alongside a mushroom risotto, braised beef cheeks, or a good aged hard cheese.
