Giant Steps Fatal Shore Pinot Noir 2022

A layered and powerful wine from southern Tasmania. It’s sourced from a single vineyard, and trucked and sailed from Coal River to the Yarra overnight. Some whole bunches were included in the ferment and the wine was matured in top end French oak for eight months. Unfined and unfiltered. Lots of dark fruit flavours, firm tannin on the sides and a good kick of acidity – serious quality all around.
