This is a fruit-driven Barossa Valley Shiraz 2016 with all the ripe black fruit flavours we’ve come to expect from the Barossa Valley favourite.
As with all Atze’s wines, this Barossa Shiraz Estate has been made using the traditional artisan approach – destemmed without crushing, delicately moved to the fermenter to keep the grapes intact, hand pumped over and basket pressed to create a pure and expressive Barossa Shiraz Estate wine.
The peppery spice, the vanilla of oak, the dark fruits and liquorice of the aroma flow through to the palate and wrap the rich tannins in a layer of flavour. You’re left with a lingering finish of cacao and the hope that there’s another glass available.
This Barossa Valley Shiraz is not to be missed!
