“Jump on this. Chianti from a top-notch vintage for this price? A maroon/plum hue, savoury in style with hints of chocolate, undergrowth, cherries, rosemary bushes, soy, aniseed and roast meats. A mid-weight wine, seamless in structure, with balance, very fine tannins, focus and a lingering finish. Thoroughly enjoyable now, but it can be consumed any time over the next four years. Brilliant value.”
