Director of whisky creation Dr. Bill Lumsden wanted to evoke the feeling of winter, of sitting in front of a fireplace while the snow falls outside. This Single Malt has been matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for over 13 years and finished in ex-Marsala casks from Sicily.

Nose: Complex, fresh with notes of dry wine, sweet, ripe oranges, green apples and pears, slightly floral, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, raisins, milk chocolate, ginger, spices, dried forest fruits.

Taste: Fresh with hints of wine, pinch of pepper, ginger, milk chocolate, vanilla, honey, dried fruit, apples, orange peel, ripe oranges, spices, light oak bitterness.

Finish: Medium length, wine notes with dried forest fruits, pinch of pepper, vanilla, bitter chocolate, oak bitterness.
