Here we have a bottling of Linkwood single malt, which after distillation over in Speyside was whacked straight into first fill sherry hogsheads. After 12 years of maturing, the liquid was bottled by Adelphi for the second batch of the Laudale range, with 1,478 bottles released at 46% ABV.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Apple crumble, cinnamon and caramel with a scattering of vanilla pod.

Palate: Pain au raisin, more vanilla and stewed orchard fruits with more silky caramel.

Finish: Chocolate coated candied ginger with honeycomb and toffee lingering alongside.
