Shenk’s is a Sour Mash Whiskey made with a substantial amount of rye. The unique character of this 2022 offering results from our aging a portion of the whiskey in special toasted French oak barrels that were made from 24 month air dried wood sourced from the Vosges region of France.

Shenk’s Homestead Small Batch Kentucky Sour Mash Whiskey is a dark golden amber colour. Aromas of brown sugar blend with baking spice and fresh citrus. A beautiful sipping whiskey with some sweet caramel notes followed by hints of nutmeg, cloves and dried fruit. Finishes smooth and elegant with lingering citrus and gentle oak.
