Elegant and smooth, Apera Cask 43% (formerly known as Sherry Cask) is a core range Limeburners expression representing the brilliance of Australian Apera barrels.
This single malt was first matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for 3 to 5 years before being finished in an aged Apera cask, imparting flavours of honeycomb, burnt orange and maple sweetness.
Prior to bottling this expression is hydrated with pure Albany water, to bring it to an approachable 43%.
Handcrafted using traditional methods and copper pot stills, Apera Cask is a sophisticated single malt that can be appreciated by new and experienced whisky drinkers.
The average age of this product is 5 to 8 years.
