Murder in the Dark is a deeply coloured wine that jumps out of the glass with mulberry, plum, violets, cocoa and bayleaf characters. The wine is velvety and mouthfilling with dark berry flavours, plush, ripe, chocolately with slightly chalky tannins. It will age gracefully over the next 10 years.
“Another excellent wine sourced from the Ferguson valley. It’s a perfect example of malbec with its juicy plush red fruit screaming from the glass. It’s a small volume wine made with minimal intervention and then bottled without fining or filtering. So, it means all that delicious malbec invades the senses. Loads of red fruit with a subtle cracked seashell backdrop.”
