Mandoon Rose (Western Australia)
Early picked red fruit is crushed and gently pressed after 4 hours skin contact. Following this, normal white winemaking is used to maximise the fruit characters of each variety. The nose shows subtle notes of toffee apple that succumb to delicate aromas of juicy raspberry drops and hints of luscious fresh strawberries. Vibrant and lifted characteristics of fresh strawberries and raspberries on the palate are well balanced by a refined texture with notable crisp acidity leading to a long and flavoursome finish of baked rhubarb.
