The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles, which includes 30% whole bunch, has a pretty bouquet of dark cherries and light white pepper and Provençal herb scents on the nose. The medium-bodied palate offers supple tannins that frame layers of red fruit laced with white pepper.
