The 2022 vintage is a fantastic year which is characterised by exceptional detail and perfume with fleshy fruit, lots of fine ripe tannin and length. Hand-picked from the oldest and most exceptional parcels of dry-grown cabernet, the Block 5 was fermented in small parcels including concrete tank and matured in French oak hogshead barrels.  Detailed and complex. A high toned vintage with beautiful aromatics of sweet blackberry, blue fruit, rose garden, vanilla pod and bay leaf. The palate has fine interwoven tannin with loads of blue and red berry fruit. It has the structure and fruit power to cellar wonderfully.
