Very lucky indeed to have secured this Japanese gem, reportedly limited to 1246 bottles and sold via lottery in early 2018. It promises a fascinating mix of casks, blended by Kenji Taniguchi including American white oak barrel #382 (distilled 1986), Sherry cask #327 (distilled 1986), Sherry cask #570 (distilled 1988) and Sherry cask #1068 (distilled 1990). Reportedly more than a touch of peat to this, mingling with the sherry sweetness. Very collectible.

The four casks draw an exquisite essence of fruity flavours, some spice and sweetness. To round this off it has a great amount of peat. Kenji Taniguichi has selected amazing casks and blended these to perfection.
