It offers a very spicy palate with some licorice and cumin seed coming through, supported by a medium level of velvety tannins, lively acidity and finishing very long.
Beautifully crafted palate, carrying over the ripe plum and dark cherry fruits from the nose, and elegantly integrating the fine French oak char, balanced natural tannins and acidity in a persistent finish.
The palate is vibrant and expressive with subtle texture featuring red cherries and boysenberry. Diligent handling of oak exudes savoury notes of slight char combined with delicate cinnamon and nutmeg. A fine, yet balanced acidity line draws together all components leading to a finish that is both structural and complementary.
