Deep purple in colour and has an extremely intense nose with blackcurrant and rich ripe red berry fruit aromas bursting from the glass. Reflective of the season, the characteristic following on from the nose with ripe jammy fruit flavours, stewed plums and rhubarb sweetness adding to the complexity. The oak influence adds elements of spice and defines the tannins structure; typical of cabernet the tannins are firm, the wine length long and the wine has a complex finish.
