This rare Tawny was vinified and matured in Bleasdale’s historic cellars.
This wine is blended to a minimum age of 18 years.
It offers a very spicy palate with some licorice and cumin seed coming through, supported by a medium level of velvety tannins, lively acidity and finishing very long.
Bright, sweet fruit flows over the tongue giving a lovely full palate yet medium body. Fine white pepper and sweet spice add to the complexity with silky tannins flowing onto the fruitful and slightly savoury finish.
Dark Side of the Moon Shiraz shows deep forest berry fruit characters complemented by spicy, almost chocolatey oak. The wine is finely structured, quite tight in youth. With time all those forward primary fruit flavours will round out to fill the palate. A pretty and remarkably delicate wine.
Deep red with purple hues Ripe raspberries, plums and with a hint of anise and white pepper, with some hints of sweet vanillin oak A rich plum and ripe raspberry palate with complexing cinnamon and vanillin-sweet dusty oak, finishing long with a soft finish.
