Bass Phillip Pinot Noir (VIC)
This has an even, mid-red colour and a vibrant appearance. The aroma is spiced and minerally with soft stone-fruit character, hints of earth and subtle spiciness. Much of the flavour is secondary in nature (earth, spices, tangy minerals, etc.). There is a great uniform balance along the palate which lingers to the end. This is a wine with balance, finesse and strong minerality which will repay cellaring for up to seven years.
